Pinterest as a sales engine: the organic channel Brazilian resellers still ignore

## The Goiânia reseller who went from 200 to 5,800 monthly views without spending one real on ads

September 2024, Tuesday morning. Camila, a Herreira reseller in Goiânia for seven years, sends me an excited audio. In March she had opened a Pinterest account because a decorator friend insisted. She posted two pins per week, with no strategy, and after three months she had fourteen followers and almost no views. Close to giving up, she spent a Saturday with me at the Goiânia factory designing a simple plan: one new themed board per month, ten pins per week, descriptions with long-tail keyword, long-tail hashtag. In six months she went from 200 to 5,800 monthly views. More importantly: from month four she started receiving direct messages from clients who had saved a pin three weeks earlier and now wanted to buy. Average ticket from those clients: R$ 410, against R$ 290 from Instagram clients. All without spending one real on ads.
