Reseller contracts: commission, territory, exclusivity

## Why a written contract is not distrust, it is mutual protection

In demi-fine retail I see two dangerous extremes. On one side, brands operating with 50, 100, 300 resellers without anything in writing — only WhatsApp messages. On the other, brands that copy a telecom contract template and impose unenforceable clauses that scare good resellers away. Both extremes lose.
